It might not be the most wonderful time of the year, and that's okay
I know most of what you'll hear and see over the next few months will tell you it's the most wonderful time of the year...
BUT you know that sometimes it doesn't feel that way.
Caregiving doesn't stop during the holidays. In fact, it can be one of the hardest times as you might not be able to celebrate in ways you once did in the past or in ways you dreamed you would in the future.
There can be a lot of sadness and pain around this time of year, especially as it seems everyone else is celebrating with loving families.
Despite all the challenges that caregiving brings, there can be both sadness AND joy.
There can be both grief AND joy.
We can't take away the dementia, but we can find ways to experience joy and create beautiful memories in spite of the dementia.
If you'd like to experience joy this holiday season as a caregiver, I invite you join us for this special series where we will be coming together to give support, create new traditions, and find ways to spark joy.
Caregivers deserve joy.
You deserve joy.
Let's make it happen.
